Case Study - Real Estate / Property-Tech

Rebuilding trustinto land, plot by plot.

A self-initiated Ganora Technologies project reimagining how a regional land brokerage in Yadgir, Karnataka could look, feel, and operate - verified titles, transparent pricing, and a fintech-grade interface built for a market where doubt is the default.

Project Overview

A land brokerage, designed like a product.

Yadgir Properties imagines a real estate business built for a market where transactions are slow, relationship-driven, and shadowed by concerns over disputed titles. We designed the entire brand and interface from zero - logotype, color system, page architecture, and an interactive valuation tool - as a working demonstration of what "trust-first" land brokerage can look like.

The Challenge

Land brokerage websites weren't built to earn trust.

Buyers don't fear bad design. They fear bad title deeds.

  • 01

    Low-trust visual language

Cluttered layouts and stock photography with no visible verification process.

  • 02

    Zero self-service tools

Buyers had to call just to estimate land value or loan EMI.

  • 03

    Illegible geography

Service areas listed as plain text, with no spatial context for outsiders.

  • 04

    No brand identity

Generic naming, no consistent mark, no distinct visual system.

Research

Two worlds, one interface.

We studied regional land-broker conventions and modern fintech product design side by side - then merged their strongest instincts into a single visual language.

Local land-broker sites

Mapped what buyers expect to see - pricing, plot photography, WhatsApp contact - and where those experiences typically break down: weak hierarchy, poor mobile handling, no trust signalling.

Fintech & SaaS interaction patterns

Borrowed dark UI, gradient accents, and card-based data display - patterns that read as precise and technical, applied deliberately to a traditionally analog industry.

Geography as a coverage map, not a list

Replaced bullet-point town names with an outlined district shape and labelled pins - a pattern common to fintech "coverage" sections, rarely used in Indian real estate.

Brand Identity

A monogram built like a circuit trace.

Yadgir Properties logomark: a Y and P monogram rendered as a glowing cyan-to-purple circuit-line illustration on black, with the wordmark Yadgir Properties below.

The Mark

A continuous, glowing line drawing fusing the letters Y and P - angular, PCB-trace-style segments with a single circular node, echoing verification and precision rather than ornamental crests.

The Wordmark

"YADGIR" set bold and wide-tracked, with "PROPERTIES" beneath it in a lighter weight - a clear typographic hierarchy between place and category.

Where It Lives

Small-scale as a nav-bar icon in a thin cyan-outlined square; large-scale as a standalone brand mark across marketing surfaces.

Color System

Restrained by design.

A near-black base with two signature accents - cyan and purple - plus a single amber accent held in reserve, used only inside the Calculator experience.

Typography

Structured headings. Calm body copy.

Invest with confidence.

Space Grotesk carries every heading - bold, wide, technical. Inter carries every paragraph - quiet, legible, unremarkable in the best way. The pairing lets the interface feel considered without feeling loud.

UX Strategy

Reduce uncertainty, at every step.

Every decision in the flow works to remove doubt before the buyer has to ask a question out loud.

Trust, above the fold

A "Verified Plots" badge and legal-check trust strip appear before any scroll - the value proposition lands in seconds.

Proof over claims

An illustrated plot-boundary graphic with live-style status tags replaces paragraphs of description.

Progressive disclosure

The calculator walks through five numbered steps instead of dropping users into a complex form.

Low-friction contact

A structured inquiry form sits beside a one-tap WhatsApp shortcut - matching real buyer behaviour.

Legible geography

A shape-accurate district outline with labelled pins replaces plain-text coverage lists.

Consistent cross-page system

Identical nav, spacing scale, and card language across all seven pages - nothing feels bolted on.

UI Showcase

Every surface, one language.

Dark elevated panels, gradient CTAs, and consistent bordered inputs carry across the entire site - from marketing pages to functional forms.

Contact & Book a Visit

A dual-path contact system - structured inquiry form on the left, direct phone / email / office details on the right - built for buyers who want a considered response as much as those who want a fast one.

Yadgir Properties contact page with a booking form for name, phone, email and requirements, alongside a Get in Touch panel listing phone, email and office address.
Design System

Reusable parts, disciplined rules.

A small, strict component set kept every page - marketing, utility, and form - feeling like the same product.

Component

Gradient CTA

Primary actions only. Cyan-to-purple, pill-shaped.

Component

Ghost Button

Secondary actions. Flat, outlined, low-contrast.

Component

Elevated Card

Bordered, low-contrast panel for badges & status.

Component

Trust Badge

Icon + label pairing to reinforce claims visually.

Pattern

Persistent Nav

Logo, links, and one CTA - identical on every page.

Pattern

Numbered Steps

Reserved for genuine sequences, like the calculator.

Pattern

Bordered Inputs

Dark fields, muted placeholders, consistent radius.

Pattern

Status Tag

Small floating labels ("Verified GPS") over illustration.

Calculator Showcase

Numbers, without the phone call.

A five-step land value and EMI calculator - the only place in the system where amber replaces cyan, marking it as a distinct, functional tool rather than a marketing surface.

1

Enter land area

Numeric input, any scale.

2

Select unit

Acre · Gunta · Sq.ft · Sq.yd

3

Enter price per unit

₹ value, live-linked.

4

Instant total value

Auto-calculated on input.

5

Loan & EMI (optional)

Bank-grade formula, approximate by design.

Loan and EMI calculator panel with fields for loan amount, interest rate and tenure, monthly EMI and total payment outputs, and a Reset button.
Areas We Serve

A district, made legible.

Rather than a bullet list of town names, coverage is shown as a shape-accurate outline of Yadgir district with labelled markers - instantly understandable, even to a buyer unfamiliar with the region.

Final Outcome

A complete system, not a landing page.

Seven pages, one identity, and a genuinely useful tool - proof that a small-town land brokerage can carry the same design discipline as a modern digital product.
